During my recent New Year's escape to the Gasthof Erlenhof, I found the perfect blend of cozy charm and Bavarian cuisine, right in the heart of nature. The traditional Black Forest restaurant was a delight, where I savored rich breakfasts while gazing out at the forest views from our balcony- a tranquil start to each day! After exploring the nearby Lake Stausee and playing billiards in the rustic lounge with my travel companions, we unwound in the peaceful garden with a drink, soaking in the serene surroundings. If you're looking for a warm retreat with a touch of adventure and plenty of heart, this quaint gem won't disappoint.
